ECHO SYNTHIA

The concept ECHO SYNTHIA is the echo of the past harmonizing with the synthesized future. It explores themes of interconnectedness and transcending into a new realm, a symbiosis between the biological and the digital.
The idea of this project is to develop a surrealist bio-digital interface that blurs the line in between the two. It is intended to be thought provoking and emphasise that the digital and the biological exist as a constituent.
How can we be purely technologically determined if we are the ones that determine said technology? We exist in a digital biome that we programmed.

My work aims to explore this digital biome, functioning like a natural ecosystem but with its own hierarchy of digital organisms and energy flow, data packets, neural links, algorithms, and AI entities that form the equivalent to organic beings and flora. This is an ongoing project and multimedia. I synthesize my own DSLR/digital photography with an intricate editing process. I use digital editing softwares and plugins as well as open source programs, which usually utilise coding, created by like minded creatives to execute my vision.
